FAQ's

Are all products sold at TPE breastfeeding and pregnancy safe?

Yes, absolutely. We work closely with our suppliers to ensure that every product available on The Pregnancy Edit is 100% safe to use during pregnancy, breastfeeding and beyond. This is why The Pregnancy Edit was created.

Can I send my order as a gift?

Of course! (Aren’t you lovely!) If your order is a gift, please let us know in the ‘order notes’ section at checkout and include any personal message you would like sent with your gift.

Are all your products vegan?

While we strive to source vegan products wherever possible, a small number of our products may contain ingredients of animal origin such as beeswax and silk extract. Each product description will state if the item is vegan, and if you have any questions about a specific product please feel free to reach out to our team for further clarification or advice.

Are your products tested on animals?

Absolutely not. We choose to source products only from cruelty-free brands that do not test on animals.

I’ve had a reaction to one of your products.

Oh no! We only source products that are formulated to be gentle and low-irritant. If you have sensitive skin, we recommend a patch test prior to using any new product. If you have experienced a reaction to one of our products please discontinue use and contact our support team for further advice and information.

Is your packaging recyclable?

TPE packaging including boxes, thank you cards, and protective inserts are all recyclable. We strive to ensure the brands we source from also provide recyclable packaging, and you can find specific information on how to dispose of packaging printed on the product label.

Are your products exclusively for pregnant/breastfeeding women?

Not at all! While our products are specifically curated to suit the needs of pregnancy and postpartum, they can (and should) be enjoyed by anyone, at any stage of life.

What ingredients should I avoid while pregnant/breastfeeding?

General advice indicates that retinoids, salicylic acid, and hydroquinone should be avoided when you’re pregnant or breastfeeding. Please consult with your GP if you have any concerns.

Do you accept returns or refunds?

We do not offer refunds or accept returns due to the hygenic nature of the products we stock.
